East Side Hotel - Berlin

Located near verti music hall, which was important for us. Ddr Softeis, where you can eat, is within walking distance of the hotel. We enjoyed East Side. Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg neighbourhood was definitely worth visiting.

Friendly staff!!!

Nice touristic places like matrix were close to the hotel. Location and staff were awesome, as everything at that property. Room was spotless.

The hotel was clean but quite noisy - this is definitely for the younger traveller, I would suggest. However, the breakfast was superb, the staff friendly and very helpful. I marked the comfort level as fair only because I had some very noisy neighbours and the doors made quite a noise when they were closed. I would most defnitely stay here again, though.

Great location for our particular weekend visit, the staff were all very nice and friendly.

Thought the service at the cafe as well as the people who worked at the hotel were very kind and helpful. The rooms were great, especially for the price. I would recommend it to anyone who is young and wants to sight- see around Berlin.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Location next to the East Side Gallery was very nice. Hotel is close to the U-bahn.

Breakfast selection was somewhat limited. We asked for twin beds, but still got a double bed. There was an ashtray in the room, despite asking for a non-smoker room.

The location was very convenient. The facilities were basic and good. The room was very clean.

Location opposite the east side gallery part of the berlin wall & close to concert venues

Hotel was pretty basic but clean suitable for those who just need a clean bed to rest in after a long days sightseeing etc not for those who like their luxuries! Staff were friendly & helpful. The buffet breakfast was excellent & had good choice of food but the coffee was not great!
